  • MPI – 2 Program. Alina is one of the few speech pathologists to have gone through and then trained in Dr. Roger Ingham’s stuttering therapy program – the Modified Phonation Interval 2 (MPI-2) which has helped countless teens, college students and adults achieve fluency while building confidence and self-esteem

Alina has struggled with stuttering most of her life. Her speech has been primarily characterized by frequent speech blocks which impeded on her ability to communicate freely in various life situations. As a result, she had developed frequent avoidances when it came to talking on the phone, saying her name, ordering food and engaging in regular conversations. Alina’s journey to fluency has truly inspired her to begin a path to help others attain the confidence and “freedom” that they seek. She truly understands the struggles of stuttering which uniquely qualifies her to not only provide the treatment but also relate to each one of her clients on a deeper and more personal level.

Alina is a dedicated member of The Stuttering Foundation of America.  She is also one of the very few speech-language pathologists in the United States to be trained in Modified Phonation Interval 2 (MPI-2) program developed by Mr. Roger Ingram in Santa Barbara, California. This revolutionary 2-3 week intensive program has helped Alina increase her fluency tremendously. As a result, she is now able to eliminate her speaking avoidances and go into any speaking situation with ease and confidence.

In addition, Alina has initially been a client and then formally trained by the late Catherine Montgomery, the founder and executive director of the American Institute for Stuttering in New York, which has offered three-week intensive workshops, individual therapy, therapist training, and support groups for more than 20 years. Since then, Alina has completed advanced training in Lidcombe program for preschool stuttering treatment, trained, as well as put herself through the MPI-2 Stuttering biofeedback program.  Alina is ready to provide the best therapy possible to each individual while tailoring to their specific needs and personal goals. Alina treats teens, college students and adults to achieve results they desire while building confidence and making what seems Impossible – POSSIBLE!
